About the job 🌟

The position supports the financial reporting function of ESAB’s FabTech platform, including regular and ad-hoc reporting activities across all regions. The role provides vital support to explain key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze variances, generate financial reports, and provide insights for strategic decisions. The role also oversights the month-end closing process for the Global Fabtech US unit, monthly rolling forecast and annual budget processes and ensures that the full Profit & Loss statement and Balance Sheet are reasonably stated.

Main responsibilities 📚

  • As a key team player for FabTech Global FP&A team, the role supports the weekly and monthly Actual/Forecast and annual Budget processes.
  • Prepares and provides regular and ad-hoc reports on a daily/weekly basis to stakeholders.
  • Ensures continuous improvement on current reports.
  • Develops new reports as and when required by the stakeholders.
  • Acts as liaison with various regional finance and global finance teams.
  • Being a custodian of financial information for the Global FabTech US unit
    • Oversee month-end closing process and ensure the financials are accurate.
    • Lead and manage the Forecast and Budget processes.
    • Prepare regular reports & updates and business information tool kits.
    • Propose/initiate actions leading to improved business results.
    • Maintaining controls and sound procedures

REQUIREMENTS

What we are looking for
  • College/University degree in Economics, Finance & Accounting
  • Min. 5 years of relevant experience
  • Fluency in English (both written and verbal)
  • Excellent Excel skills and general IT literacy
  • Outstanding attention to details
  • Strong analytical skills, structured way of thinking & acting are required
  • Proactive, ability of systematic problem solving, self-starter mindset
  • Ability to meet priorities and deadlines, and work under time pressure
  • Ability to work independently and in team
  • Ability to work in a dynamic multicultural environment
  • Confident usage of Microsoft Access, Power Bi, Power Query and/or AI Toolkits is a plus
  • Occasional travel is required.
