The Supply Chain Planning Manager will oversee the development of GCE’s global supply chain and operations through implementing Supply Chain Management, process improvement and best practices. Draw upon expertise in supply chain lean processes and develop programs that will provide tactical support to GCE’s operations. Keep inventory at the proper levels and drive further improvements on working capital. Be at the forefront of bringing new products to market, working with all business areas to ensure GCE’s products are delivered at the right price, cost, and time. Drive continuous improvement within a manufacturing and warehousing organization, emphasizing design for supply chain and manufacturing. Specific duties will include, but not be limited to, the following.
- Implementation and improvement of standard processes and policies, including
- SIOP implementation and ownership
- Planning processes and policies
- Reviews of performance with regions, Business areas and critical customers
- ABC product – Service level processes
- PFEP with adjustment of MinOQ/MaxOQ/COF through organization
- Linkage of systems, reporting & analysis via Power BI / AI
- Other connected processes and policies
- Lead development of tools and processes to support
- Working capital turnover continuous increase
- Availability of components and products to deliver expected service levels
- E&O reduction
- Other needs or KPIs set by the organization.
- Driving specific projects with a significant impact on WC improvements as an example
- Overstock reduction components to final products with an 80-20 Approach
- Re-establishing item classification policy, including execution.
- Executing further changes based on PFEP and other processes.
- Overview and support process of pruning
- Strategic alignment with business requirements
- Set supply chain strategic goals, vision, and pathway for the next 3-5 years
- Support the acquisition process from due diligence till integration.
- Implementation of ESG requirements into our processes and needs
- Proactive approach in NPI processes and reflecting in the supply chain.
- Organization
- Set org. Structure for long-term success.
- Work with talents and upgrade a team per needs.
- Develop a training set across the organization to improve SC performance.
- Establish best practice sharing and implementation with ESAB and inside
- Alignment with ESAB Global supply chain goals and policies
REQUIREMENTS
- 5-10 years of work experience in the supply chain, including demand planning, inventory management, and distribution connected to manufacturing. Resulting in a significant impact on working capital and customer service level improvements.
- 3+ years serving as a Manager in an International environment with matrix reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, related field, or foreign degree equivalent.
- Fluent English language knowledge on professional level (both written and verbal)
- A team-oriented, decisive leader with a focus on delivering results
- Strong communication and facilitation skills for cross-functional organization
- Project management and process orientation
- Continuous improvement mindset
- Information technology and automation knowledge
- ERP, Excel, and PowerBI tools
- Ability to travel up to 10-25% of the time (domestic and international)
